For book bloggers

The agreement

By applying you accept this agreement. You’ll receive a copy by email.

Version of 28.09.2026

Shadowblogger agreement

  1. What this is about

Between Nemoria Blackthrone (author, ) and the person applying with their name and email address (“you”).

Once your application has been reviewed, you receive a personal access code. It gives you free advance and review copies as well as unpublished material for current and upcoming books by Nemoria Blackthrone.

There is no entitlement to be accepted or to receive a particular advance copy.

  2. Confidentiality

Confidential means everything you receive through the access area or directly from the author that is not yet public: advance copies, manuscript excerpts, covers and artwork before release, character cards, plot and twists, dates, campaigns and plans.

You keep this content confidential, don’t pass it on and don’t publish it until the author publishes it herself or explicitly releases it. Short quotes as part of your review are fine.

Advance copies and files are for you alone. You don’t share, sell, copy or upload them anywhere, including groups, clouds or file-sharing sites, and you don’t take photos or screenshots of whole pages.

Your access code is personal and must not be shared. Downloads are linked to your code.

Confidentiality continues after our collaboration ends, until the content in question has been published.

  3. Advance copies

Advance copies are pre-release versions. They may differ from the final edition.

You delete advance copies once your review is done, at the latest three months after the book’s release, and at any time the author asks you to.

  4. Review

Your review is free and honest. There is no obligation to give a positive review or a particular number of stars.

You post reviews in online shops (e.g. Amazon) only from release day onwards.

You don’t reveal major twists, or you clearly mark them as spoilers.

If you stop reading or don’t write a review, you let the author know.

  5. Disclosure

Posts about books you received for free are labelled according to the applicable rules and each platform’s guidelines, e.g. “free advance copy”. Posts that are part of a blogger campaign are labelled as advertising (“ad”).

  6. Blogger campaigns

Some books come with campaigns that have set posts and dates. They are listed in the access area with the book.

If you download an advance copy of a book with a campaign, you commit to the required posts listed there. If you can’t make a date, a short message in advance is enough.

  7. Breaches

If you breach this agreement, in particular confidentiality, the author may block your code immediately and exclude you from further advance copies. Any further rights of the author, in particular under copyright law, remain unaffected.

  8. Ending

You can leave at any time by email. The author can end the collaboration at any time. The confidentiality section and the obligation to delete advance copies continue to apply.

  9. Privacy

We process the details from your application and log your consent and the downloads made with your code in order to run the programme and to be able to show that this agreement is being kept. Details are in the privacy policy, section 10b (German).

  10. Consent

You accept this agreement by entering your full name in the application form and ticking the box. You also confirm that you are at least 18 years old. You will receive the text by email.

The agreement takes effect when the author accepts your application and sends you your code.
